Andrew Ferguson Nominated For Rising Star Award Andrew Ferguson Nominated For Rising Star Award 6 Jun 2014 30 year old Andrew Ferguson, Director of Eden Scott, has been nominated for the Rising Star Award at this yearâs Northern Star Business Awards. The Rising Star Award is a much coveted accolade, awarded to an individual who has demonstrated innovation and has made a major contribution to their company. Ferguson is one of three finalists for the Rising Star Award, who will go forward to the Northern Star Business Awards ceremony on the 25th September. Ferguson started his recruitment career in 2006, joining Eden Scott in 2009 to establish the commercial team in Aberdeen. In just 5 years, he has risen from Consultant to Director Level, contributing extensively to the firmâs annual £15 million turnover and has a near 0% staff turnover rate in the past 5 years. Ferguson is the grandson of the late Tayside figurehead and business leader James Clarke Macfarlane CBE, and shares his grandfatherâs passion for business. In a short space of time, he has built solid relationships in Aberdeen and is a respected professional within the North East business community.
